I have been interested in art since I was a little girl. Starting at a very young age, I was taking classes focusing on all different types of mediums. That sense of discovery and creativity was a constant for me all throughout my childhood and adolescence, inspiring me to study art after high school to truly find myself as an artist and uncover what tools I enjoy to use most. My time spent getting my art degree brought me a love for many forms of art, my greatest love being for acrylic and silk painting. My work displays a variety of subjects and styles, that are a reflection of my life and dreams at the time. From energetic landscapes to colorful animals and popular culture icons that inspire me, I try to paint subjects that I truly enjoy and that radiate a sense of positivity. My art is simplistic in nature, while using bold lines and vibrant colors to showcase this subject of inspiration. Whether it’s a mountain scene or a pet portrait, I try to use a combination of colors that compliment each other well and bring the painting to life. I am really passionate about creating art and putting it out into the world for others to view. When I am developing a piece, the process takes me to another world filled with movement and color.
