The Polka Dot Owl Tx was conceived from a love of all things handmade and vintage. My grandmother and mother were both "Junk Dealers" in the late 60's through the 80's. I grew up with the appreciation that all things are not made equal and that our Artisans of the past and present have and will create treasures that will last long into future. My creative mind has really come to life in the past few years. I have taught myself to crochet , sew, weld use a plasma cutter, as well as make glass beads from glass canes. I posses both the creativity and determination to launch a small grass roots business; specializing in homemade crocheted and sewn items, as well as, the metal art create.
