Leaves:

Come out on Saturday to support your local DFW authors at Leaves Book & Tea Shop. They will have 16 of them in the shop throughout the day, doing readings, signing books, and playing word and story games. Plus making bookmarks on the patio from noon - 2 pm and Word and Story Games with Friend and Foe from 4-8 pm.

Kellyn Dean Interior Design:

Kellyn Dean Interior Design will be hosting Rosie + Belle and Megan Thorne Fine Jewels for ArtsGoggle in her new space in the Dickson-Jenkins. Try on dresses and jewelry designed by Chelsea Bell and meet Megan and Jaz from Megan Thorne Fine Jewels (who will be moving in right next door to Kellyn’s studio space)!

Art Room:

Art Room presents TEN: Small Works Show in their exciting new space in the Dickson-Jenkins. Recently named a non-profit, Art Room is using this opportunity to celebrate local artists and to begin their commitment to scholarship and resources. TEN: Small Works Show runs October 20 through December 13, 2018.

Crittenden The Studio:

Crittenden The Studio’s Grand Opening Exhibition includes work by: Thomas Motley, CW Gilbert, Becca Motley, and Genevieve Armstrong. Official reception from 6-9 with bubbles & bites. Musical performances will begin at 4pm. At 4 and 7 pm, Kenny Clymer will fill the room with his awesome voice, from Italian arias to Weill’s laments. At 5 and 8 pm, Pops Dennie brings some picking and storytelling from the heart. At 6 and 9 pm, Mario Rafael Rodriguez slams some acoustic psychedelic Bossa Nova.
