I consider my work active art. I want users to make intentional decisions to use my art in a way that adds enjoyment to their daily rituals.  For instance, you have a favorite cup that you clean every night for your morning coffee meditation.  You may also find yourself running to the store to buy flowers just to use the handmade vase for the evening unwind.  Somehow these tedious chores become enjoyable when you interact with art that has purpose, usefulness and delight.  It is these interactions that inspire me to create.
