A little bit of light goes a long way in the dark.  My art is just that, it brings forth the light in dark areas.  With that being said, my work also predominantly reflects my spirituality. I do not want a person to look at my work and gain nothing out of it, I want a person to walk away with something learned; something they can take home with them and think about.  That is one of the reasons I use the technique of thick and prominent brush strokes and striking contrasted colors are what bring my paintings to life.  It is what pulls a person in.  It's as if each stroke of vivid colors are my whispers to the world and the painting, as a whole, is my voice shouting to be heard.
