My art lies somewhere just beyond reality. Inspired by the Surrealism Art movement, sometimes I paint clouds and skies where they could not possibly ever exist. I don’t always allow gravity to restrict the subjects in my paintings and that’s why sometimes they appear to be floating on the canvas. On occasion, I paint realistically, other times I deconstruct my subjects into simple, whimsical geometric shapes – one of my signature styles. Acrylic paint is my primary medium of choice, but I love working with mixed media and I have even created a series of portrait paintings made of tin foil and gold paint.

When I am creating, I let my subconscious mind run free to imagine and then I challenge my conscious mind to paint it. Through my artwork, I explore my inner being and strive to create pieces that make the world more beautiful than it currently is. My ultimate goal is to create art that makes people feel good.
