I don't leave the house without jewelry... even to wash my car! It's always been that way with me. And, I buy simple garments so they won't detract from my adornments. I believe I can express myself more artistically through my accessories.
My career as a fashion designer and art director sharpened my sense of aesthetics. They were good years, but when I retired to become a full time silversmith, I realized for the first time that this is what I was meant to do all along. And hopefully I will continue to create unique pieces of artwear until the day I die.
A lifelong enthusiasm for collecting primitive artifacts and ethnic ornaments influences my work, which I define as contemporary tribal jewelry. I hand fabricate one-of-a-kind pieces with precious metal combined with stones, bones and found objects, which I have carefully collected over DECADES. My workshop is truly a spectacle of curiosities!
Uniquely earthy and dramatic, my work appeals to both men and women, many of which I'm pleased to say become repeat customers. I also strive to include an assortment of more simple and affordable options at my events so I can offer something special to all.
Finally found my calling! Life is Good!
