I have always found inspiration in the broken and imperfect, in nature and allegory, in song and scripture.   In my creative practice, I have found that the process is the most important part of the journey.   Through techniques such as blind contour and visual journaling, I purpose to bring the invisible world of the soul, in all its imprefections, out into the visible external world of the canvas.  I firmly believe that this process is healing and necessary to the human soul and that the process is precisely where art and beauty are formed.
