Initially I created pieces only for myself. I wanted unique pieces to hang on my walls but found it difficult to find what I liked. I began creating what was pleasing to my eye and to my tastes and built on that. I’m inspired by everyday objects all about us; trees in winter, the sun hitting a building, geometrical shapes, and even print ads. Lines, angles, and textures really appeal to me.

My pieces are comprised mostly of wood (dimensional lumber and natural), glass, metals, and acrylics.
