My art is about humour and it's about reciprocity. Everyday i force myself to dig through my imagination hunting for a tiny bit of something that might contain some value. I pull out that half-formed nugget of an idea and shape it into a drawing i can share with others. These ‘others' who might enjoy the nuggets of my mind but may not have direct access to them. My drawings are the conduit for my brain to touch other brains in a gentle but intimate way. Of course it would be easier to just open up the old brain box and let people take a look for themselves, but then I wouldn't get to draw as much. I like the drawing part. It's good for me.
