When I was a kid I wanted to be a Belly Dancer (this was before Belly Dancing was a thing). I soon realized (A): I wasn't exotic at all (B): I was living in the Ozarks so I had no access; and (C): I certainly didn't have the wardrobe or the beads required. Over the years I went to art school and became a designer. While in school I took jewely making classes and LOVED them. I soon realized that armed with the right beads and imagination I could, at least, wear and make exotic pieces of jewely and I could do more than that ... I could make any style I like. I would find an interesting bead and dream about what I was going to make it into, then get up the next day and rush to bead stores to find just the right accent beads and wire. If I was going to pin it down I guess you could say I make a combination of two styles, boho chic and whimsical (because grown ups need to have a little fun stuff too).*
