Urban Castro (UC) is an American artist, urrently based out of DFW, TX.  "A lot of folks like to paint scenes that come from a place of fantasy.  I try to use reality as my primary inspiration.  Whereas some artists may choose to paint a beautiful landscape of a barn in the county, I am more interested in painting what is going on insided the barn. I also attempt to provide subject matter that directly confronts the soul of the human experience and reflect the times in which we live in."  Inspired by thoughts and emotions that are truly universal but the human condition has  programmed society to reject and repress, UC provides these topics the spotlight with his utilization of bold colors and vivid imagery.
