Painting is something that I love. I like being able to create images that bring out the soul of subject matter.  I paint mostly animals or pet portraits. I try to capture the "look" of the dog's or cat's eyes to reflect and exude their personality off the canvas. I use many layers of acrylic paint to build dimension and translucent look to an image. Color is very rich and I like painting directly from the tube. Color so rich and to resemble Technicolor from older movies of a by gone era. As every artist does painting process evolves without you even knowing it sometimes taking greater risks and getting out of your safe zones and painting solely from the heart and not some photograph.
