My art is a way to convey the ideas and images in my head into the greater world. I'm inspired by my love of the sea and the natural beauty in this world. I cant seem to limit myself to only one medium! My 2d art is often a mix of water color and acrylic paint and sometimes colored pencil in a whimisical, illustrative style. I prefer minimal, organic jewelry with semi-precious stones and incorporate kiln fired charms and electroformed, hand collected shells. I've recently ventured into mobile making which I consider just an extenstion of my jewelry work, but bigger and bolder! Air plants add a living element to my suncaters and an appealing textural contrast to the crystal and stones.
