Shiny Penny Workshop creates Functional Art. I search for unique vintage jewelry boxes, keepsake boxes, and cigar boxes. I transform them with a variety of mediums, including painting, altered images, and hardware. Most pieces are pop culture inspired. More functional art available are coasters, magnets, throw pillows and purses. I recycle the old and give a new life to it with different meduims of art to create a one of kind piece that is also useful.
