My work relies on a certain amount of experimentation, this is seen in the varying materials used within each series. Currently, I am experimenting with reflective substrate as opposed to traditional canvas. This reflective material parallels the meditative and metaphorically reflective aspect in my work. Influenced by my thoughts and ideals, my art has subtle narratives that largely revolve around the subjects of identity, mental health, and relationships within the subconscious framework. Combining abstract painting with an overlay of minimalist images, I create striking works with an ethereal quality. The underlying objective in my works is to open a dialog on our sensitivities and relationships we have with ourselves.
