It has been my dream since childhood to become an artist when I grew up. Little did I realize that it wasnt about becoming an artist. Its about embracing the one that l have always been, the talent and passion that I was born with. So here I am. A 21 year old working on my second year in University as a visual and fine artist and striving to build a business foundation strong enough to build on the rest of my life. Since March of 2018 I have been working towards opening my own face painting business for birthday parties, festivals, sporting events, etc. It hasnt been easy by any means but waking up everyday and not only putting giant smiles on childrens faces but I am doing what I LOVE! Working with a one of a kind media, actively practicing brush control, learning balance and symmetry, and experimenting with color combinatiomns that transform the beauty of any face. I know this sound like a lot for a girl who "just paints faces". But I have created a job for myself that I love and creates some of the most special memories for whom I work with! Face Painting is only one avenue of art that I have decided to persue. The traditional medias such as graphite, acrylic, and water colors are just as important to my business as facepainting. Face painting is more of an instant gratification type of art, and for me that creates a great balance within my life. This is a new business and it feels so liberating to know that I have something that I can carry with and rely on for the rest of this beautiful life!
