Ellen Hoffman, the culprit responsible for the online retailer "internetnovice," is a 2013 graduate and studio art BFA recipient from Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois. Hoffman's work has since deviated from traditional figurative and portrait work into more low-brow and humor driven content, resulting in what is described as illustrative and tongue-in-cheek. Hoffman relocated to the Dallas/Fort Worth area in 2016 and has since been establishing her presence as an artist locally, as well as online.
