Rachel Strickland was born in a small town in Northeast Texas.  Her love for art started at an early age when her family would visit the museums in Dallas and Fort Worth.  At the age of 11she began painting with oils.  It wasn’t until she was age 19 that she enrolled in studio class at a community college that she farther expanded her skills.  Now living in Fort Worth she participates in locate pop-up shows and events.
